We are a husband and wife team living in Sandbach Cheshire and have two grown up boys. Through our love of old furniture, we started to visit our local and national auction houses, where we found one or two little gems of furniture, well made by todays standards but often in need of some TLC, when we have completed our magic the pieces are brought back to life and ready for painting, these are sometimes more then a hundred years old and hopfully they are ready for the next hundred years.

In 2007 we bought a small 17th Century house in the South West of France and on our visits have bought furniture to restore, along with monogrammed antique French linen and vintage kitchenalia,

So now we find ourselves turning our passion of buying and restoring furniture into a full time business, along with finding good producers of fine goods

Our finds have included large church pews dated 1843, vintage garden chairs previously used in a French station cafe and vintage French step ladders ideal to use in a bathroom for towels or in the garden to display plants, French pillar mirrors, French buffet side boards to name few, of course we are buying all the time.

We are constantly updating stock and try to keep our web site up to date, some things are sold vert quickly,  so if you want that unique piece of furniture please keep giving us a visit and I’m sure you will not be disappointed.

We have a passion for what we do and that comes across in the time we spend on each pieace, we want you to be happy with your purchase, which makes us happy.

We will always try to use reclaimed materials and restore each piece sympathetically to give them a second lease of life and the benefit to you is that you will have a unique item of furniture, we may buy antiques and turn them into good solid furniture.

Our Furniture

You will see in our gallery and shop page many of the items we have already restored and painted and of course the furniture we make.

When restoring the furniture we takes great care and passion to use materials in keeping with the original piece whilst also enhancing any original features.

We like to use Farrow and Ball paints,  these complements the furniture and works in many homes, old and new.

If you feel that you have an item of furniture that you love and cannot bear to part with, we in close consultation with you, can mend, restore and paint the item in a colour of your choice, so that you can enjoy many more years of use.
